MarcorSEN Engineering ("MarcorSEN," "we," "us," or "our") operates marcorforensicexpert.com (the "Site") and provides forensic structural engineering and expert witness services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect two categories of information:

a) Information you provide directly

• Contact-form submissions: your name, email address, organization, phone number (if provided), matter type, jurisdiction, timeline, and the message you send.
• SMS opt-in: if you check the SMS-consent box, we record that consent along with the phone number you provided so we can send you related text messages.

b) Information collected automatically

• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referring URL, and general location (city / region). Collected via Google Analytics 4 if enabled.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use first-party cookies for basic site function and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

• Respond to your inquiry and provide requested services.
• Confirm engagement, run conflict checks, and communicate about your matter.
• Send text messages if — and only if — you have opted in.
• Improve the Site and understand how visitors use it.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

If you provide your phone number and check the SMS-consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from MarcorSEN Engineering. Specifically:

• Message types: appointment scheduling and reminders, intake follow-ups, engagement confirmations, and other communications about your inquiry or engagement.
• Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your engagement.
• Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message.

• Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may inquire about, retain, or engage MarcorSEN Engineering without agreeing to receive text messages.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your mobile information (phone number, consent record, and messaging history) is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is used solely to deliver the messages you have opted in to receive.

We use a limited set of trusted service providers to operate the Site and communicate with you. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Firebase (Google) — hosting, database, and authentication for admin functions.
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for form submissions and confirmations.
• Client Tether — customer relationship management and, where applicable, SMS delivery under our A2P 10DLC registration.
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics.

We retain inquiry records and engagement communications for as long as needed to serve you and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your information by emailing us at the address below.

• You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
• You may request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• You may request correction or deletion of your information.
• You may disable analytics cookies through your browser or a privacy-focused browser extension.
